Germany/Sweden to Thorold Ontario

This Power Plant project was particularly unique as CLP was originally contracted to provide simple port receiving and handling for Break Bulk cargo to a remote inland waterway port of discharge. The project grew to include consulting to revise charter party agreements that better suited the client, and management of their local Heavy Haul RFQ for delivery to site of all Break Bulk and standard containerized cargo. From that point, the services expanded again where CLP provided critical airfreight solutions for cargo that was particularly time sensitive, as well as providing all charter vessel services from Europe to Great Lakes port(s) utilizing optimal locations to achieve economies of scale and delivery deadlines. For heavy lift cargos up to 135mt, CLP nominated a port of discharge where handling was minimized as heavy lift cargo was discharged directly to a special rail car positioned on the apron, while other cargo was discharged at regularly serviced ports. This                    project spanned 12 months and included more than 8,000cbm of cargo.
