project

Surrey British Columbia to Mississauga Ontario

Convoy Logistics Providers successfully obtained an exemption waiver to the Cabotage Law from the Canadian government. This facilitated a foreign flagged vessel charter service to be commissioned for transport of 622 FRT of power plant equipment from Vancouver BC to Hamilton, ON. Project services included mobilization of an onsite CLP team and provisioning of all site services at origin to move cargo from an indoor storage facility utilizing rigging, jack & slide and heavy haul machinery moving services to Vancouver port of loading. CLP provided engineering services to reduce combined COG in order to obtain a rail clearance from Hamilton to a CLP contracted private rail siding in Mississauga. Jack and Slide equipment and crew were deployed to transfer the cargo from rail to heavy lift transport equipment. Final delivery to destination was completed following rigorous utility requirements. In addition to this there was 1800 Frt of cargo that was moved via intermodal service                            from origin facility to final project site.
